Currently Craving--Children's Books

Celebrating Paisley!
Paisley surprised the world by coming much sooner than planned, but thankfully perfectly beautiful.  Her Mama is one of the most incredible educators I have seen.  As a mother of five.... I feel so blessed when my children find someone who is not only enthusiastic about learning, but loves the students as well.  As a 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Bybee's innovation in the classroom is unmatched and her care and concern for each child is rare.   I can't say enough about  Mrs. Bybee... she is simply adored by all.

Because of the complications in the pregnancy, Mrs. Bybee was hospitalized on May 6th at 32 weeks.  She gave birth on May 21st at 34 weeks. "perfectly healthy Paisley" is a miracle.

The entire class was saddened to not be able to say good bye to Mrs. Bybee...  that made this baby shower extra special.  It was a reunion!

Mr. Shirley and Mrs. Bybee are both 3rd grade teachers.  He added the extra special touch to the shower by singing a lullaby to Paisley-- Elvis Presley's "Can't help falling in love."

                                   This picture says it all.....

The Refreshments- Lemonade mixer with desserts

Emma and Faith organized the shower and insisted on playing the diaper smelling game- the kids loved it and even a few older guests joined!

What could be a more perfect theme for a school teacher than children's books- we wanted to build a library for Paisley! Each student past or present gave Paisley a favorite children's book.

We love you more Mrs. Bybee!  Thanks for loving our little ones...

Paisley is now 3 months old and Mrs. Bybee is once again back in the classroom dazzling her students with the wonderment of learning.  Only this time she leaves a chunk of her heart with Paisley.  Thanks, Paisley for sharing your mama!
