Monday Memory- A Prayerful Christmas Tree cutting

We "stole" this moment from the craziness of our 7 busy lives and went Christmas Tree cutting.  We went to what we affectionately call "Deer Mountain" where Grandpa Eldro and the rest of the Rigby men have hunted for generations.  However, there was much more snow than we had ancticipated on the north facing slopes  and fearful that we may get stuck, we turned around.  Seven Year Old Maleck burst into tears, "we're never going to get our tree, you promised daddy."  Not knowing what else to do,  we bowed our heads in prayer, and  asked Heavenly Father to guide us to a Christmas tree.  Short and sweet and a few moments later, we raised our heads to surprisingly a road Rigby has never taken and there in the distance was our tree.  Beautiful!  Fortunately, we have a 20 foot plus ceiling perfect for this tree.

Under the misletoe
She is becoming my very dearest friend!

I turned my head and she grew up!  She has her daddy's beautiful eyes!

I never would have guessed that this day would come so soon- look how they have grown!  They are trouble and mischief, and little teases, but they are ours and we will keep them forever!
