Weaver reunion 2015

Their "True Colors"
I love this family of mine! It was a wonderful birthday weekend.  I love family reunions and what could be more perfect then spending time with those you love most but get to see least... for your birthday! My grandparents Max and Ruth Weaver had six children- Kimball, Kurt, Katherine, Scott, Wynn, and Ruth Kay.  They blessed my grandparents with 37 grandkids!

As member of the Church of Jesus Christ we are firm believers in the sanctity of the family whether it be about the living or the dead.  I am a STORYKEEPER of both the living and the dead because family is everything.

My Weaver family is fun and well funny!  We are huggers and smilers. Family reunion ideas. We have reunions every 3 years.  The last one was in 2012 in California.  That is where my dad's brother raised his 8 kids,  this time it was in Northern Utah where  3 of the six siblings are centrally located.  Activities are based  upon location and around our family hobbies and interests, and of course there is always food.  But no matter what, there is always FUN!

We hiked the "Y" in honor of Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Kurt.  They all loved BYU so much!

So I was a little proud... my crew made it to the top first!

And then they went down it...

Dear Grandma and Grandpa, Thank you for the heritage you have blessed us with and an amazing family with which to grow old with and giggle with along the way... through the shadows and the sunshine.  I miss you grandma and grandpa!

No family is perfect.... but in the end that is all you ever have- talk a little more, laugh a little louder, and hug a little tighter

See you in 2018--- Thanks so much to everyone who made this possible... Aunts Ruth Kay and Katherine... cousins Laree, Sharee, and Matt.  Looking forward to the next one- Uncle Wynn and Aunt Vickie!
