Jamestown, Virginia

Our family vacation 2015 this year was centered in America's Historic triangle.  At times it was more an education rather than vacation, but no worries, we were beach going, tree hanging, roller coaster riding maniacs too!

What an amazing opportunity to return to our country's roots.
Jamestown was full of hands on activities and the guides were dressed in period costumes.

The best part of our vacation was just being together!

All aboard, viewing what life was like on the three ships that first came to Jamestown was an eye opener...

What I have learned and lived since Saturday...

                              Life is Fragile
                                                    Good Coaches matter
When you are 12 baseball is everything, but to                          this team Nash is.....
                              Family is everything
I love Baseball and these guys!
                        Mothers Matter
                        Kids grow up to FAST!
             Sugar and Spice- is NICE!
                          HARD work pays off!
It takes guts to do something you hate!

Good Friends are hard to find!

                                           Follow your Dreams!

Epilogue:  My house looks like a tornado touched down, crumbs cover the floor, dust mites reflect in the sunshine, fingerprints dot the windows, baseball pants are soaking in the sink, suitcases are scattered throughout the house, but I couldn't be happier!

Everyday we are writing our family history.... DISCOVER YOU STORY... SHARE YOUR JOY!

Payson Temple

"I love to See the Temple, I'm going there someday.  To feel the holy spirit, to listen and to pray."
Stolen moments are the best- you know when you make a memory and you really didn't have the time to make it work, but you did.
I pray they will cherish this stolen moment, this memory.  May it warm them, guide the, and gently lead them home.

You are never to young to feel the spirit-- both Liam and Maleck taught us that today.  I will cherish this stolen moment forever1
How I love this sis of mine who despite all odds pushes forward with her faith in Christ and love of life eternal.  Heavenly Father sometimes speaks  very loudly--- and then delivers his voice in the form of a very special adorable red headed baby boy!

This was my first temple open house in my 40 years of life.  It was definitely worth the late night drive and the early morning arrival.  I am so grateful we were able to make it happen.
I was so edified by my "stolen moment" to the temple.  What an incredible experience.  The artistry, craftsmanship, art work, and decor were  magnificent, but the joy of seeing four of our five children enter the house of the Lord was a memory to treasure forever!
We missed you daddy, grandpa, and Madsen.  How grateful I am that families can be together forever!

So grateful to be their mother

To say I am grateful to be their mother is an understatement!  When I look at this picture, I can hardly believe they are all mine...wow.  Rigby and I did at least 5 things right!
They even got me fresh flowers and chocolate.
They spoiled me with gifts of service and trinkets of surprise and heartfelt cards. While  Emma and I spent a mother-daughter weekend in St. George with Aunt Heather and Cousin Adelaide, On Saturday, the  "boys" cleaned the garage, suburban, and went grocery shopping.  Sunday they treated me to breakfast and my favorite dinner complete with fresh trout from their Friday fishing trip.  It was really absolute bliss!
Rigby surprised me with an amazing new camera--- hence all the photos- enjoy the gallery of Mother Day Photos!

Love you mommy!

Now our life is not perfect- far from it actually, but I will certainly take days like this.  Thanks to my family for the amazing Mother's Day!

Being a mother is the hardest most rewarding challenge of my life.  The hours are long, the worry intense, but the love is overwhelming!
