Christmas 2017

Christmas Eve 2017
Why keep memories... Dad Rigby gave us my most cherished gift this season.  It was the personal history of his mother Zina Lunt Rigby which he recorded during the last months of her life.  As I read it, I feel I am there in the room with the two of them enjoying the stories and the exchange between mother and son.  Each of us have a story.  I share with you snippets of my story.. the adventures with Rigby and our Fabulous Five.  I am not sure sure teenagers are much easier than toddlers, but I love them all the same.  This past year has been an emotionally exhausting one for me as a mother... heart has experienced moments of intense heartache and then moments of extreme joy.  I am not sure How Heavenly Father does it... but I am grateful he does and I am most grateful for the birth, life, and sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ after all, he is the reason for the season.
He is also the reason I am able to do what I do every day. It is in whom I find, joy peace, and love.  I pray that you may find this same joy, peace, and love in the coming year, and that you may share, cherish, adventure in your stories of the new year!

Old Bud

Elder Rigby called at 2:30- it was fun to face time with him.  What a joy to see his growth as he has served the Lord.  We look forward to his return on June 19th.  As a mother, there is no greater joy than to witness a child growing closer to the Lord.  Serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will bless his life and the lives of his spouse and future family for the rest of their lives and beyond.

A little holiday humor- love these two!
