The Muir Woods just outside of San Francisco was just what we outdoor small town loving weary travelers needed. We made our way to San Francisco in one straight shot 12 hour ride. The Muir Woods are part of the few forest of Redwood protected my the Federal Government- a national Park. We were absolutely captivated by these giants and the lush forest they call home.
These are four of my giants- love these boys and the memories we have made together!

I admire the strength of these "five trees!"
While I have been to the Redwood before, watching our children discover this forest for the first time was most memorable!
