I just simply love October. It beckons change. Everything about the season is delicious to my senses. I love the way the leaves crunch underfoot, how the mountains explode in hues of yellow, orange, and red, the sound of football games under Friday night lights, the taste of apples, and of course the bight happy orange pumpkins. I try to savor it all... to remember everything.

While I am a firm believer in not rushing the seasons, I don't mind that Autumn brings Halloween and Halloween brings the holiday Season. Halloween just happens to jumpstart the festival of Fun. Thanksgiving brings gratitude and Christmas brings love. We are ready. In fact, we hung our Christmas lights this evening. I so enjoyed listening to the giggles of our little ones running to and fro as the older boys helped Rigby hang the lights. We love Christmas here!!!!
